Refund Policy
At Sankalan, we are committed to delivering high-quality packaged food products to our customers. Due to the perishable and consumable nature of food items, refunds and replacements are handled under specific conditions.
Refund – refund will be credited to your original payment method within 4-5 business days.
Replacement – replacement orders will be delivered within 3-5 business days.
Return – Orders can be returned within 7 days of receiving
1. Eligibility for Refunds
Refunds or replacements may be issued under the following circumstances:
- Product received is damaged during transit
- Incorrect product delivered
- Expired product delivered
- Product packaging is tampered or opened upon delivery
- Product missing from the order
Customers must notify us within 24 hours of delivery to request a refund or replacement.
2. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:
- Customer changes their mind after purchase
- Products consumed or partially used
- Incorrect address provided during order placement
- Delivery failure due to customer unavailability
- Minor packaging variations that do not affect product quality
Food products once delivered are generally non-returnable due to hygiene and safety regulations.
3. Reporting Issues
To report an issue with an order, customers must:
- Contact customer support within 24 hours of delivery
- Provide order number
- Provide photographs of the product and packaging
- Describe the issue clearly
Once verified, Sankalan will initiate the appropriate action.
4. Refund Process
Approved refunds will be processed through the original payment method.
Refund timelines typically follow:
- UPI / Wallet payments – 3 to 5 business days
- Debit/Credit cards – 5 to 7 business days
- Net banking – 5 to 7 business days
For Cash on Delivery orders, refunds may be issued through bank transfer or store credit.
5. Replacement Policy
In eligible cases, Sankalan may offer a replacement instead of a refund. Replacement products will be shipped subject to availability.
6. Cancellation Policy
Orders can only be cancelled before they are dispatched. Once the order has been shipped, cancellation may not be possible.
